  Already on a Student Visa
  * Submit your affidavit of support along with your admission application

  * Transferring from another academic institution in the U.S. as a F-1 student, fill out the Transfer In Form and have the International Advisor at your previous school fax it to the International Student and Scholar Services(ISSS), CIE.
  * Your Certificate of Eligibility Form I-20 will be issued and mailed directly to you along with your admission packet as soon as your SEVIS record has been released from your previous school.
     
  In the U.S. on another visa category other than F-1 student visa
  * Mail application to USCIS
  * .Change of Status application for B1/B2 to F-1 must be approved before intending student can start classes. Students changing from H-4/J-1 to F-1 can start classes.
  * Prepare to depart 30 days or less before the beginning of your program
  * Attend a mandatory International Student Orientation (orientation information is in the pre-arrival booklet).
  * Change of Status application must be approved before intending student can attend classes.
