History

Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut has a long and successful relationship with the People’s Republic of China. Most recently three to six-month training programs have been completed both here in the U.S. and in the PRC for Hong Kong SAR, Guangxi, Liaoning, Tianjin, and Wuhan in the area of Public Administration.  The university’s U.S.-China Business Center has recently completed a contract to conduct Public Administration training for the province of Shandong in the PRC. The training program was six months in duration for 52 scholars. It has also just concluded a three month program for the City of Weifang, P. R. C and now is conducting another six month program in Public Administration for the province of Shandong.
