Internship Opportunities
Once again it's time to consider whether a government-related internship
should be in your future. These opportunities are especially useful for
any student aspiring to a career in law, public service, lobbying or
advocacy, or with a non-governmental or non-profit organization.
Students with Business majors are also needed for managing governmental
and non-governmental organizations.
- Any major may apply.
- We offer as few as 6 credits, or as many as
16, depending on your hours of work, placement, and other factors.
- Internships can be as local as New Britain
or Hartford, or as distant as Washington, D.C.
- Internships can be developed in cooperation
with other departments, such as Journalism, Criminal Justice,
Communications or Business.
- Most interns report that their experiences
were the most important and most meaningful of all their coursework
at CCSU.
- Among the benefits of an internship are: Job
opportunities, networking for personal and professional contacts,
skill building, and resume development.
