Sports, Magic, Diving, Oh My!  That’s what 80 and moreConnecticut middle school students will be doing on May 16 at Central Connecticut State University. The Mathematics Department at CCSU has hosted Campy-on-Campus for over ten years. Each year, middle school students and their teachers come to CCSU to attend morning and afternoon workshop sessions to learn about exciting topics in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This year’s topics include: Learning Simple Probability and Statistics Examples with MS ExcelThe Mathematics of Submarines,Graph Coloring, Learning How to Use Math to Become a Magician, STEM for the Win! Sports, Ciphers, and Space with TI-Nspire Technology, and Exploring Planets of the Sun.
