Dr. Dwight Scherban, Associate Professor, has enjoyed teaching for nearly twenty years. He was included in Who's Who in American Education in 1993, and was a runner up for " Teacher of The Year, " at CCSU in 1992. He is an active consultant to area businesses, as well. This business experience helps him "to bring experiential learning into the classroom." Scherban is especially interested in health care as an area for consulting and academic research. His latest work is in the timely area of alternative medicine: " The Marketing Impact of Alternative Medicine on Traditional Methods " . Scherban received a B.A. from University of Hartford, and MBA from University of New Haven, and his Ph.D. at University of Connecticut.
