Dr. Snyder teaches courses in Managerial Communications at CCSU. Before coming to CCSU in 2007, he taught courses in Organizational Communication, Public Speaking, and Research Methods at the University of Connecticut over the course of six years as a Graduate Assistant.

While at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Snyder was a finalist for the University Teaching Assistant of the Year award in 2004, nominated for the International Communication Association Teaching Assistant award in 2005, and received a National Communication Association Teaching Assistant award in 2006. Dr. Snyder has an active program of research and has presented his research at both national and international conferences in addition to writing consulting reports for private organizations.
