Dr. Ray
DeCormier, Professor, is driven by his desire to meet
nice people, his sense of independence, and his
commitment to become a "master in his field." These
passions have taken him from CCSU marketing and
management graduate to professional salesman and back to
CCSU as faculty member. His playful nature and desire
for experimentation took him on some side trips along
the route: entrepreneur, consultant and accountant.
DeCormier was always interested in sales, having sold
many different products during his career in industry.
He is an active researcher in the area of personal
selling. DeCormier received his Ph.D. from University of
Bradford, UK, an MBA from University of Connecticut, and
his B.S. from CCSU.
