Dear CCSU Student-Athlete,
This serves as a reminder of the importance of summer conditioning workouts for athletes who will be reporting for preseason camp in August and for those reporting for traditional training with your sport in September. Whether you report in August or September, your coaches are expecting you to be in peak physical condition and adjusted to practicing in the heat. With preseason about 6-8 weeks away it is very important that you begin to condition and maintain your conditioning programs in order to be prepared for the intensity of the official preseason practices. For those reporting in September, we strongly recommend that you begin summer training as well. All student-athletes should refer to their "Summer Training Manual" for specific training protocols.
