No city in
Connecticut reaches the 250,000 population threshold for the America’s Most
Literate Cities study. But we did want to learn how at least 3 of our major
cities would fare in the ranking, as well as to learn about the conditions
for literacy in these culturally and economically important cities. Using
the same metrics, here is how Hartford, New Britain, and New Haven would
