Working to Stop Violence

The Center has taken the leadership in prevention of violence against women.  RSVP (Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention Committee) is chaired by our Director.  Prevention programs, including peer education, are provided by our office.  Each April, we sponsor a Take Back The Night March as a demonstration against sexual assault.  We work closely both with the local Prudence Crandall Shelter for Women and Sexual Assault Crisis Service, which train our staff as well as with state-wide consortiums.
