·         The Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) has been the pre-eminent force for promoting standards in student affairs, student services, and student development programs. CCSU Student Affairs is in the process of this self-study.

·         This survey is recognized by our national affiliate organizations; it focuses on Residence Life, Student Center, Student Activities, The Bookstore, Food Services, and many other items concerning students. CCSU Student Affairs pulls comparisons of demographics and services, to comparisons of service quality and impact to all schools participating, Carnegie Class Institutions and the "select six" which are schools most like us. The out of classroom learning piece will fit into here.
