DVD/VHS videotapes will be duplicated only when accompanied by written permission from the copyright holder, which remains in the Media Center. It is the requester’s responsibility to obtain copyright clearance. This applies to all instructional materials formats. Request forms are available in the Media Center and online. Duplication requests take a minimum of two (2) weeks to process.
The Media Center also has the ability to convert international standard (PAL, SECAM, etc.) VHS videotapes to the US standard (NTSC) and vice versa. This procedure is subject to the same guidelines and copyright restrictions as other duplication requests.
