Important information about videotaping requests

The Media Center video staff will make every effort to assign a student to tape your event upon request. In the event that no one is available to work your event the Media Center will offer training to you or your group in order for you to facilitate the taping of the event on your own. To make a request for the videotaping of your event, please submit the form below with all the appropriate information.

Please Note: In the case of a room booked through Event Management or the Reservation Office, the Media Center will add the cost of student labor to the Event Management or Reservation Office bill. There is no charge for equipment for an academic event.

* IMPORTANT: Tape media MUST be supplied by the requesting party. The Media Center does not provide blank tapes. Currently the Media Center uses Mini DV videotapes. They are 60 minutes each in length so please plan for the number of tapes needed to tape your entire event (ex. 1-2 hour event = 2 tapes). Tapes should be supplied by you to the student upon their arrival at the event and the student will return the tapes at the end of the event.
