Getting their kicks along historic Route 66, CCSU sociology students
(l. to r.) Heather Cowles, Lauren Costello, and Candace Whitney
conducted interviews as part of a field study under the guidance of
Drs. John Mitrano and Bruce Day. CCSU students traveled from
Chicago to Los Angeles trying to grasp Route 66’s socio-cultural
significance. Here, they visited the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum
in Clinton, OK.
