The Finance program prepares graduates for managerial careers in corporations,
financial institutions and governmental organizations. Financial professionals
evaluate all business and financial risks and returns in business decisions.
Using economic theory and the techniques of accounting and statistics, financial
managers direct funds acquisition, funds management and investment. Graduates
may pursue careers in corporate financial management, banking, insurance,
investments and government.
Students in Finance must complete the 27-credit Common Business Core (see column
1 on page 56) requirements plus the following 30 credits.
