Overview | Eligibility | Costs | Credit Transfer | Financial Aid & Scholarships

- Credit Transfer -

All courses taken abroad on a CCSU program can be treated exactly as CCSU coursework and will apply towards your graduation requirement as major, minor and general education credit.

You should meet with the International Education Coordinator to discuss the academic system at your chosen University overseas. Your Academic Advisor can advise you further regarding your specific degree requirements and approve the credit transfer for your planned studies - before you even study abroad.

- Financial Aid - & Scholarships-

Most forms of financial aid can be continued while studying abroad since your student status is maintained. Plus, studying abroad may make you eligible for other low-interest student loans.  If you are planning to apply for any form of financial aid, you must do so several months in advance of your program start date.

CCSU offers several scholarships and grants to qualified students, which can be used to defray program tuition, fees, and/or travel costs.

April 1 is the deadline for all Center for International Education Scholarships.
