 The Committee on the Concerns of Women (CCW) is a committee that was formed out of the Women’s Task Force, first established in 1974. The final report led to the establishment of the Interim CCW. The committee was formally established and got under way in the 1977 Academic Year. The committee was to be a permanent Faculty Senate Committee but after much deliberation and study it was decided that the committee should be a Presidential All-College Committee. This committee was a 15-member committee composed of faculty, staff and students. The current committee acts in an advisory capacity to the President, and varies in the number of members.
