Fisher, Associate Director of Marketing and Communications Sinatra Exhibition Extended at Elihu Burritt Library NEW BRITAIN – (August 1, 2007) The popular Elihu Burritt Library exhibition of Frank Sinatra memorabilia has been extended through the end of August. It had been scheduled to close July 30. Titled “The Rat Pack Pack Rat is Back,” the wide-ranging exhibition has been culled from the collection of Central Connecticut State University professor and English department chair Dr. Gil Gigliotti and features everything from old 78-rpm records to rare, Sinatra family photos. It is a follow-up to similar 1990s exhibition from the collection. Professor Gigliotti also hosts a weekly radio show, “Frank, Gil, and Friends,” Tuesdays from 8 to 10 a.m. on the CCSU student-run radio station WFCS (107.7-FM). The exhibit, located on the library’s main floor, is open to the public without charge, during regular (summer) hours, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. ###
