TOP TEN ADVISING TIPS

Requirements that must be fulfilled, but that are often overlooked and prevent a timely graduation from the university.

1. Application for Graduation 1 year in advance.

2. Minimum 122 credits required to graduate.  MATH 099 does not count toward graduation!

3. PE 144 and an FYE course for students entering CCSU with less than 15 credits.

4. Fulfill the literature requirement for General Education.

5. Fulfill the history requirement for general education.

7. English 110 must be completed in the first 60 hours of a student’s program, and it is a prerequisite for literature.

8. Math 099 or English 099 must be completed in the first 30 hours of a student’s program.

9. 6 credits of International courses (a 111 level foreign language course does not count).
